Venue Hire

Westminster Chapel is an independent evangelical church adhering to the beliefs and ethos statements of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches.

Our primary purpose as a church is to advance the Christian faith. We hire out our premises to advance our mission and offer a service to our local community. We are pleased that you have considered us for your venue and wish to extend a warm welcome.


Located in the heart of London, Westminster Chapel is a great central location for events. We offer a range of rooms to accommodate small meetings or large conferences. We are located within easy walking distance of Victoria, St James’s Park and Green Park stations.

Disabled Access: there is disabled access throughout the ground floor, but we do not have lifts to allow access to other floors. There is one disabled toilet on the premises.

Parking: all parking around Westminster Chapel is restricted and the nearest car park is Q-Park Victoria, just off Horseferry Road. We are also within the congestion charge zone. Please see Westminster City Council’s website for more information.

Rooms For Hire

  • Rooms are available to hire Monday to Saturday only.
  • REGULAR rate applies to bookings Monday to Thursday, 09:00-17:00
  • AFTER-HOURS rate (previously Evening & Weekend rate) applies to all bookings on Friday or Saturday, and any bookings past 17:00 Monday to Thursday.


Theatre Seating: 1,400 people approx.
Seating Breakdown: ground floor pews seat up to 700, lower gallery seats 500, upper gallery seats 200 people
Hourly Rate: £185 per hour
After-Hours rate: £225 per hour

Main Hall

Theatre Seating: 130 approx.
Facilities: hatch to kitchen, disabled toilet, fold-away partition joining to Lounge and projector/projection screen
Hourly Rate: £85 per hour
After-Hours rate: £115 per hour

Llyod-Jones Hall

Facilities: sports hall (no disabled access)
Hourly Rate: £65 per hour
After-Hours rate: £85 per hour


Theatre Seating: 30 approx.
Facilities: hatch to kitchenette, fold-away partition to Main Hall, Sofas
Hourly Rate: £65 per hour
After-Hours rate: £85 per hour

Small Hall

Theatre Seating: 35 approx.
Facilities: connected to creche area with sink & baby changing facilities
Hourly Rate: £35 per hour
After-Hours rate: £60 per hour

Room B

Theatre Seating: 10 approx.
Hourly Rate: £15 per hour
After-Hours rate: £40 per hour


Facilities: water boiler, dishwasher, large counters, 3 deep sinks, 2 Industrial ovens, 3 hot cabinets, 6 ring hob cooker.
Please note that special terms and conditions apply to kitchen hire.
Hourly Rate: £50 per hour
After-Hours rate: £90 per hour

Planning Room

Board room seating: 10ppl.
Circle of chairs: 15ppl
Facilities: TV on wall, Flip chart paper, usb sockets and natural light.
Hourly Rate: £35 per hour
After-Hours rate: £50 per hour


Seating: Limited seating options, ideal for informal meeting/interview for around 10ppl 
Facilities inc: comfy chairs and informal layout.
Hourly rate: £15ph
After-Hours: £30ph

Campbell-Morgan Library

Seating: 6 bistro tables and two sofa. Can all be moved to one side to create a circle of chairs or brought together to sit around. Max capacity is 25ppl.
Facilities: TV and Kitchenette
Hourly Rate: £45ph
After-Hours: £60ph

Room Layout

PA/AV Requirements

For many events we can provide basic PA at an additional cost consisting of one microphone and a visual display unit (projector or TV depending on room and availability). This does not include computer devices or adaptors.

If you need to use more than basic PA/AV, you must engage the services of B&H Sound (part of the SFL group) even when using your own equipment.

B&H Sound are our independent contractor whose services do not form part of your premises hire and will charge you separately for their services. A list of costs of tech equipment are available here.

Deposits & Cancellations

A 20% deposit is required for all bookings over £100. This is in addition to the total cost of room hire. The deposit will be returned after the booked event less any deductions payable under our Terms & Conditions.

Bookings can be cancelled without incurring a cancellation fee provided cancellation takes place no later than 28 days before the date of hire. Where an event is cancelled less than 28 days prior to the date of hire, a cancellation fee is payable as follows:-

Days before Hire | Cancellation Fee:
14-27 Days | 25% of hire cost
8-13 Days | 50% of hire cost
0-7 Days | 100% of hire cost


We have an approved caterer who may be able to attend your catering needs. The approved caterer is an independent contractor whose services do not form part of your Premises Hire.
Our Lounge and Main Hall combined can seat 140 people.

Prices are for an 8-hour slot (*day*) and come in addition to final hire cost.

Auditorium projector (x2) and one mic: £150/day
Projector and one mic (Main Hall): £70/day
TV/DVD: £30/day
Flipchart with pens & paper: £10/day
Baby Grand Piano (Auditorium only): £40/day
Nord Keyboard: £100/day
Drums: £100/day (auditorium only)
