With stabbings on the increase, anti-depressants being taken by millions, threats of terror and confusion over Brexit, life in London and the UK can be a depressing.
So many put their hope in that grade, qualification, job, paycheck, partner, spouse, and even if all goes well, often we can still feel disappointed because we were hoping for something more.
Oxford Professor and author of The Chronicles of Narnia (C.S. Lewis) put it like this: “If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world.”
There is a historical, other-worldly (heavenly even) hope, that if you let into your heart will change your perspective about everything. We call it Inspiring Hope because it’s God-breathed. It’s one of our style points (or ‘cultural values’). We want this hope to indwell our lives and church; cascading out across London.
Join us as we get vulnerable and go deep, exploring the only HOPE in this world that won’t let you down.
Every Sunday, 11am. 21st April – 2nd June 2019.
