Spiritual Detox New Book

We are so excited to announce that Holly and I have a book coming out on 21st October, and the front cover has just been finalised, as we continue to work through the proofs.

We feel so privileged that God would entrust us to serve him with a book seeking to recover the daily discipline of confession of sin. The book is called Spiritual Detox: Discovering the Joy of Liberating Confession (it’s being published by the SPCK imprint Form). You can pre-order a copy here.

Confession is not a journey of depressing introspection but life-transforming liberation – heavenly joy that transcends earthly circumstances. King David confessed his sin, and his bones that had figuratively felt crushed before, began to rejoice again. Confession is the key that opens the door to celebratory joy.

Spiritual Detox is nine joy-awakening chapters unpacking one life-changing Bible verse – 1 John 1:9 – with an introduction and a concluding chapter on application. It’s packed with real-life testimonies, and practical examples of how you can make confession more of a daily, joy-giving habit. We pray it will be a great blessing to you.
We are so grateful to John and Debby Wright, national directors, Vineyard Churches, UK & Ireland for writing the foreword, and to Dr RT Kendall, J John, Dr Michael Reeves, Ed Stetzer, Rachelle Ann Go, Phil Moore, Tope Koleoso, Trevor Archer, Tim Rudge, Martin Storey, David Shearman, Lars Due-Christensen, Steve Cuss, Geoff & Sherry Surratt, AmickyCarol Akiwumi MBE, Hannah Anderson, and Vinu Paul for their kind endorsements.
