We believe in the power and importance of prayer and sung worship. God does immeasurably more than we ask or imagine when we pray in faith to him (Ephesians 3:20).
Alongside encouraging everyone to engage in daily personal prayer, there are four main ways we currently do corporate prayer and worship together:
We gather to pray together at 10:10am on Sundays before our 11am service. John 10:10 inspires this prayer meeting, as we ask for God’s abundant life to be made manifest in the service. If you want to join, please show up on time in the room behind the main Auditorium – you’ll be most welcome.
We pray together in the Sunday service, and offer prayer ministry toward the end of the service, to anyone who would like it.
We gather to pray together in Life Groups weekly/fortnightly. Find out more about Groups and Courses.
We pray and worship at bimonthly Freedom Friday evenings, usually the first Friday of the month, 7:30pm-9:00pm (see our Events page for details). These are less structured, open meetings, where we seek to hear from God for each other, bringing spiritual gift contributions (e.g. prophetic words) and respond in prayer and sung worship.
In addition to this, the Pastors/Elders gather to pray every Monday, and our staff team every Tuesday.
